The INCITE’s project held its General Meeting on the 6th and 7th of October 2022 in Mol and Antwerp (Belgium). The meeting was hosted by VITO.

We discussed the following subjects:

1st day: Updates on process innovation, design and engineering of the two demonstrations plants (Belgium and Italy), sustainability assessment and a lab visit

2nd day: Update on the installation, operation and optimization at the two demonstration sites, knowledge transfer activities, business development and communication

The INCITE project brings together eight European partners from four countries. It has received € 13.3 M from the EU’s Horizon 2020 Programme for the topic “efficient integrated downstream processes” (CE-SPIRE-04-2019). The project aims to demonstrate novel integrated up- and downstream processing paths involving flow chemistry and membrane technology in chemo-enzymatic processes. The modularity and flexibility of the developed processes will be showcased through two demonstration plants.
